Personal Data
You can view this website without sending an inquiry or placing an order. Technical connection data, such as your IP address, is processed to deliver the website and protect it against misuse. If you use the contact form, we process the information you enter, such as your name, email address, company and message, to respond to your inquiry. If you request a reading sample, we process your name, email address, optionally your company, and your newsletter consent, to send you the sample and subscribe you to the Obermatt newsletter, including the next 3 reading samples. You can unsubscribe at any time. The contents and preface are available without signing up. For a book preorder, we process the order and shipping information needed to fulfill it. We use the service providers described below for these purposes.
Tracking Technologies
This website does not use cookies for analytics or tracking purposes. We use cookieless analytics tools to collect anonymous, aggregate usage data such as page views, referral sources, and visitor counts. This data cannot be used to personally identify you.

Payment Processing (Stripe)
Book preorders placed through this website are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland). When you start a preorder, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. The data required for the purchase and shipping – name, delivery address, email address and payment details – is entered there directly with Stripe.
Obermatt receives the order and shipping information required to fulfill your order from Stripe, but at no point receives full payment card details. Stripe's privacy policy is available at: https://stripe.com/privacy
Use of Data
Personal data is used only in a limited manner. We ensure that our marketing activities comply with applicable law and have established processes to obtain your consent before sending you emails with information about Obermatt services. You can request at any time that we stop delivering further content.
Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
On a case-by-case basis, we share visitor data with service providers who process or manage this data on our behalf. Third parties generally do not receive access to visitor data for other purposes, as described above.
Data Security
Obermatt uses generally accepted technological security standards to protect visitor data entered on the website from misuse, loss, and falsification. This website is delivered through Cloudflare Workers and the content delivery network operated by Cloudflare Inc. Cloudflare processes technical connection and request data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. Data processing agreements compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are in place with all processors we use. Service Providers
We use the following services to provide and operate this website for the purposes described: • Cloudflare – website hosting through Workers, delivery through a content delivery network and protection against abusive requests; this may involve a transfer to the USA. • Sentry – capture of technical errors and performance data to diagnose website problems. Session Replay recordings are disabled. • Cloudflare Turnstile – protection of the contact form and the reading-sample form against spam; this may involve a transfer to the USA. • Upstash – storage of request counters and identifiers to limit repeated requests. This uses IP addresses and, for the contact and reading-sample forms, also the email address provided. Upstash also stores order and notification records, including name, email address, amount, currency, quantity, shipping country and shipping charges, together with payment-event and order identifiers. These records support order tracking and help prevent duplicate processing of payment events and notifications. • Resend – delivery of messages sent through the contact form, of requested reading samples and of order notifications, and management of newsletter subscribers and newsletter delivery; this may involve a transfer to the USA. • Sanity – delivery of content and images through a content delivery network. • YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com) – embedding of individual videos. Your browser connects to YouTube when the embedded player loads. Playing a video may cause additional data to be processed; this may involve a transfer to the USA. Payment processing (book preorder)
For preorders of the book «Outperform», we process payments through Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.). At checkout we collect and transmit to Stripe the data required for the order: name, email address, shipping address, order quantity and payment amount. Your card details are processed exclusively by Stripe and never reach our servers. Stripe processes this data to handle the payment and prevent fraud; this may involve a transfer to the USA. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Obermatt reserves the right to amend and/or extend this privacy policy at any time without giving reasons. Under no circumstances may this policy or parts thereof be interpreted as creating a contract or agreement between Obermatt and a user who visits these websites or sends data of any kind to this website.
